Casey and Celeste Votruba started Votruba Archery in 2003 in their home. Casey has had a passion for archery for well over a decade and has always enjoyed introducing others to the sport. So a year after they started the business they bought the old American Legion buildings in Fairview, Kansas, after a bit of remodeling they opened at their current location in July 2005.
Casey and Celeste met in the Kansas City area where they both worked at Home Depot. Casey got a new job working for a tool company and was free to move so he decided to move back to where Celeste was from, which is the Fairview, Kansas area. Casey and Celeste were married soon after on December 20, 2003. Celeste's father is a farmer and Casey of course took all of the hunting ground into consideration before he popped the question! Haha! That's Casey, he always has his eyes open for a new place to hunt!
